Fun Facts About Mrs. Baker-Sanhueza!
My name is Ginger Baker-Sanhueza. I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Spanish Education. I have taught all over Georgia but my dream was always to live in Florida. In January of 2012, my husband and I decided to make that dream come true and we made "the big move." I started out at Bartram Trail High School (Go Bears!) but in the Summer of 2015, I left my dear bear family and began working as a virtual school teacher. I have two young kids and I am sure you will hear them in the background of our calls. My husband, Sam, and I love to fish and the outdoors so in 2017, we started a non-profit--Sol Margin Fishing & Conservation Foundation. In addition to our non-profit, I also run my own business, serving the Homeschool Community called Eval Gal. I provide evaluations, private tutoring, and homeschool testing and advisement services. I love being able to connect with students and help them with their educational goals.
In my home, we love watching ALL sports and are a house divided! My husband is a Bama fan and I am a Gator fan! Lastly, I always get asked the question, "Where does the Spanish come from?" Well, my father is from Chile and we are also big soccer fans! I look forward to working with you this year and I hope you will join us at one of our Spanish Club meetings or you can even become a Sol Margin Fishing Ambassador!
